The Use of Numbers in Magick
Numbers are everywhere and present in everything we do. Something so widespread should have some sort of power, not so? It most definitely does! So how does this work? Well, some say you have to notice the patterns, while others say you have to make use of certain numbers to attract their influences. In my experience, I have used both methods together, and that has proven to be successful.
Pay attention to numerical patterns around you, because it might mean that your guides are trying to tell you something. For me, this is the most common form of message or sign I receive, simply because they know that I will get the message!
It’s important to know that not every single number you encounter is going to be a mystical message from your guides. But, if you see the same pattern, over and over, then it’s worth looking in to. Just be practical about it. If you’re seeing 12:12, 12:21, 21:12 and 21:21 every time you look at a clock, then maybe you should look into what the 1 and 2 combinations are about.
How does one use numbers in magick? You can use a certain number of candles, do something on a certain number of days, or on a particular day of the month or week. You can even make a spell cord and use a certain number of knots in relation to the influences you’re trying to attract. The frequency of the numbers magnifies the intention you are putting into the world.
Don’t read too far into this; that completely defeats the purpose. As always, follow your intuition. You have the power, not the numbers. Your intuition will guide you to what you’re supposed to be paying attention to. If you’re seeing something, but you’re not entirely certain that the message applies to you or your circumstances, then move along. Don’t dwell on it. Guides will send messages like these as a nudge or a reminder to watch your thoughts and actions with regards to your life mission.

The number 0 relates to infinite potential, choices and cycles. It means that something is coming to a close for something new to begin.
When this number is recurring, it’s a time to meditate, connect with nature, and listen for guidance. This cycle is coming to a close, and you have the power to impact the new beginning, making into what you choose.

The number 2 relates to balance, patience, faith and trust. It means that your thoughts, prayers and intentions have been received and the Universe is working on it, even though it may not be obvious right now. In magick, it symbolises duality, balance, imagination, love and compassion.
When this number is recurring, it means that your thoughts and intentions are being manifested, but you need to have patience and faith that everything will turn out for the highest good. Your planted ideas are starting to take root. Tend to them gently and faithfully. Keep up the good work, you’re on the right path!
