A very Blessed Beltane to all of my readers!
We were just at Ostara and in rushes Beltane (almost right under my nose too because Pagan festivals are not recognised here). Wow, this year is rushing on by!
For those of you who don’t know what Beltane is about, here is a link that will assist: Beltane.
The one thing I do miss about living in a non-paganist country is the May Pole and Bonfires. I was a very little girl when I was part of it in the UK, but after moving to the Caribbean, those experiences are just memories now. Sometimes I do wish things were better so I could just hop on a plane for these occasions. I guess I can light something on fire (heehee 🙂 ).
Perhaps one day this country will start recognising pagan festivals. Or maybe not. This country is full of religion, but I don’t think pagans are going to come out of the closet here – not for a great many years. But that is my Beltane wish – to have paganism be recognised like any other religion and not as sorcery.
Blessed be to all and have a Blessed Beltane
